Brilliantly performed!
Thank you Paula. On the viewers far right you seeI was playing a large 200 year old viola. The lyrics are beautiful. Perhaps you should go on line and hear it sung at a slower tempo. It was a challenge to try to keep it together, but it was much fun. Have a nice St. Patrick’s day coming up soon.
I know the song and have learned to play it on my tenor recorder, someone has just made a backing track for me .(piano). Hoping to play for old folk in homes when we are safe again. Lovely song with a powerful message , powerful in those days you needed to be married!!
