1. Ah, Memorial, 3 Day weekend, how nice. This ‘Empty Streets’ one, I did years ago. I came across it recently when I was looking for something else. I decided to have it posted. I don’t think it was prophetic that there are no people in the picture. It was my first painting with oil or acrylic and was struggling with it. You can see how primitive the attempt to mix colors on the sky and street. I got it to this point and decided to quit while I was partially ahead, so I thought.
