1. I think they must be in the booth of a diner or truck stop. Is that a picture on the wall or a window and a car speeding by?
   Nebraska Highway U.S. 30 sign in lower right corner gives the vintage. Could be a oversized child, sitting on the back rest of the booth, enjoying a malted milk shake or egg cream.
