  1. The father had a bag of some sort on him the son was squashing a bit. They saw me sketching them and when they were leaving the train,
    I turned my sketch book around and showed them. The father burst out laughing so hard, I could hear him laughing all the way down the platform as the train pulled out of the station. They were speaking german. I was very happy that my drawing elicited such a strong reaction. An artist wants to evoke some emotional reaction to the art. Humor, sadness, fear, any reaction of emotion means the artist touched someone somehow.
