Mother died last year and her piano looks too silent. I noodle a bit, but it is not the same as before. As she always said to me.”Nothing stays the same”, “This also will pass” especially with something was bad, she would say that.
Just woke up from a flu induced sleep with this in mind – a photo of your mother playing the piano lovingly displayed on the piano making it less empty. And, by recalling the sounds of the music she played every time you see the photo, is like making the piano silent never more. You have my empathy.
