His voice on the radio rang throughout my house in Portland Oregon when I was a boy. He mesmerized me and I hung on his every word and sentence.
What a beautiful and sincere message he implored. We strove to be better people and dream for a happy and balanced world. We were young and idealistic. He was older and idealistic. He gave his life for what he believed. Oh merci merci me. In tribute to MLK it is appropriate to listen to Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On?” Album. Enjoy and count your blessings.

Actually, on second thought, he didn’t “give” his live. His life was cut short when he was murdered. (Reality check)

Though, he knew he was risking his life and possibly cutting it shorter by continuing to bring his (the) message.
