Thank you. I started with blue berry-ish muffins as a still life” Ha! I wanted something rich and heavy with texture, then came the mirror (have one similar and like the curves), then I had to put something in the mirror as a reflection of the room. I work quickly and decided to use the pencil to get it rolling. It is all from my imagination. Glad you liked it. I hope. Best regards – Gregory

Possibly the mirror. Many times a drawing just emerges and takes shape on its own. I just flow and let it develop section by section.
I compose music the same way. Thanks for your interest.

Upon more “reflection” (pardon the pun.) The mirror also allows me two pictures in one. I wasn’t sure where to go with the “still life” so I re-invented the canvass with a chance to start over with a new canvas-frame (the mirror also allowed me to change mediums)

P.s. this (THe mirror) was not planned out in advance. It happened because it needed to happen. Necessity is the mother and father of invention.
Hi Gregory, What inspired you to draw this? Was it the mirror? http://www.segmation.com
