I had the honor to conduct my “Memorial Processional ” composition as a guest conductor in St. Petersburg, Russia in February of this year.
It was a commemorative concert for the fallen in WWll in the siege of Leningrad. The citizens were surrounded by the Nazi army and getting bombed and starving and freezing to death by the thousands.
