This scene is of a little park at Montmartre in Paris. I was so taken and inspired by Paris.
I had an accordion player join me and I learned many french songs from him. One day he jumped into the Seine.
He was pulled out and we continued our music making a few days later. He was from East Germany and his name was Klaus Halx. (I still remember)
He taught me some french. He was amazed and suspicious of me when I showed him my Auxiliary Police badge (from New York City).
He couldn’t believe that a policeman from NYC could play the violin as well as I did.
