Hello ladies and gentlemen boys and girls. You may find it hard to believe, but one night after one of our Manhattan Symphonie concerts at Bargemusic on the Brooklyn side of the Brooklyn Bridge, I actually found a pumpkin growing in a small patch of weeds. I am telling you the truth. I am glad this picture captures the memory of that little pumpkin. It was smaller than the one in the picture. There has been a major reconstruction of that area now and it is a fancy park with a fine restaurant. If you look carefully, you can see musical notation on the Barge and on the fence.
I see some funny faces in the weeds.
