This is actually over at the turtle pond in Central Park. The NY parks dept. smashed the egg(s) of a huge nesting Canada Geese one summer. What a shame. They also cut down a wonderful old tree. I also don’t like those silly ugly yellow/green signs that disrupt the beauty of the park that say “NO BIKE RIDING ON THE PATHS” We don’t nee those signs. I studied the Rachmaninoff 3rd piano concert and the Dvorak ” New World” Symphony laying on my belly for several summer months preparing for a concert in the winter. I also saved a few turtles from the food stores in “Chinatown” and gave them a new lease on life at that pond. Some Buddhists call me “The Turtle King” True. Ha!
